Schools and Nurseries

Happily Ever After is available for visits to schools and nurseries in Surrey and West Sussex. Each interactive storytelling session is full of drama, songs and games, all linked to a high quality text which can be tailored for each setting. With over 10 years of teaching experience in an infant school, as well as a degree in Musical Theatre, I carefully plan each session to suit your needs, using props and instruments to bring the story to life in a way that will inspire the children and allow for further discussion and learning back in class. Choose from the stories below or if you have a particular theme or topic let me know and I will do my best to use a story to fit your requirements.

Performing Arts Week - builds confidence and performance skills

A week of singing, dancing and drama culminating in a show ready to be performed for parents. A great way to devise a leavers assembly, Christmas performance or end of year celebration without extra workload for the teachers!

Lunchtime or After School Club - KS1 (45 minutes)

A course of interactive storytelling sessions for Rec and KS1, exploring a different story each week through dance, movement and song.

After School Clubs - KS2 (60 minutes)

Performing Arts based classes where the children learn verse, songs and dances to retell a popular story and perform it to their families at the end of term.

Cross Curricular Topic WOW Starters - Whole School

Book a whole day or morning session to kick of your new topic (or finish it in style!) with a creative and fully immersive workshop. Let us know what your next topic is and we can create a cross curricular and engaging day, linking music, movement, songs, art with any of the  foundation subjects, creating a moment the children will remember for years to come.

"The pupils were more confident and driven towards performing after our week with Sam. They understood that this was going to be a special performance and they tried their hardest to perform to their best. Confidence grew within the group; the performances were polished and the children enjoyed themselves hugely. Sam brings with her a wealth of experience and enthusiasm. Her experience as a hugely successful teacher, means that not only will the school benefit from her drama qualities, they also benefit from her background in behavioural management and knowledge of furthering children’s potential. We booked her again immediately!" Joe Elliott, Head of Year 2, The Orchard Infant School, East Molesey
